Materials Handling in Japan, South Korea & Taiwan

The North East Asia region, made up of Japan, South Korea and Taiwan, forms an economic powerhouse. Japan in its own right is the 3rd biggest economy in the world, Korea 10th globally and 3rd largest in Asia Pacific and Taiwan 20th globally and 7th in Asia.

Growth in the Materials Handling sector has been significant with Northern Ireland sales increasing between 2016-2019, however despite this Northern Ireland Material Handling sales lag behind other global markets, highlighting the potential for growth.

This recording of our recent Materials Handling webinar focuses on the region and features experts from Japan, South Korea and Taiwan presenting their findings on the Materials Handling sector and highlighting the opportunities for NI companies such as the Japanese government’s shifting focus to aging infrastructures and the impact of the “South Korean New Deal” on infrastructure spending.
