Who can apply for Horizon Europe?
The Horizon Europe programme offers funding and collaboration opportunities to businesses of all sizes (including start-ups and SMEs), innovators and researchers in Northern Ireland who meet the eligibility criteria.
How to apply
Horizon Europe funding opportunities are set out in Work Programmes published by the Europe Commission.
Applications to specific Funding Calls are made through the European Commission's Funding and Tenders Portal.
You can search and apply for calls by topic, sector or funding type via the portal.
Horizon Europe Advisory Support in Northern Ireland
The Horizon Europe Northern Ireland Contact Point (NICP) support network is made up of local Advisors throughout all regions and industries within Northern Ireland.
Invest NI is the cross-sectoral NICP for SMEs and industry.
NICPs provide advice and guidance on funding calls, finding project partners and identifying the appropriate Horizon Europe opportunities for you.
Financial Support from Invest NI for Project Planning
Invest NI Project Definition financial support is open to eligible Invest NI clients who are preparing an application to Horizon Europe.
