GB supply chain risk management company Achilles establishes in Northern Ireland

GB supply chain risk management company, Achilles, is establishing a new sales and technology hub in Northern Ireland. It will create 26 new jobs.  

Through our engagement with Invest NI, we were able to see first-hand the strength of the local talent pool, the collaborative tech community and the supportive business ecosystem.

Founded in 1992, Achilles helps major financial, industrial, commercial and governmental organisations to manage supply chain risk, comply with ESG regulations and meet sustainability goals. It operates across 22 global locations and its clients include CBRE, Orsted and Ineos. 

Making the announcement from its new office at Glandore Business Centre, Arthur House, in Belfast, Katie Ferrier, Regional Director of UK, Ireland and Middle East at Achilles said: “We are investing in Belfast as an important part of strengthening our capability in technology, data and client delivery. The new team will bring together expertise across sales, marketing, audit and AI technology, supporting the continued development of our products and services for customers around the world.  

“Northern Ireland offers an exceptional environment for technology-led businesses. Through our engagement with Invest NI, we were able to see first-hand the strength of the local talent pool, the collaborative tech community and the supportive business ecosystem. Belfast is a natural location for us to build and grow a high-performing team, and we are excited about the role the office will play in Achilles’ future.”

Roles on offer have an average salary of £37,375 and include sales agents, marketing executives, data scientists and graduate technology positions. The company plans to have all roles filled by 2027.
